Research and Planning: Changes to The Big Screen

I have also made some changes to my film magazine The Big Screen, by deleting the text that I had, I have added some headings in some boxes, so that it looks more professional. This is a convention that is seen on a lot of film magazines e.g. Empire and Total Film.

Research and Planning: Ouija Board

Me and Louise have made the Oujia board that we are going to use now. We got a blank piece of paper, then put a teabag on it to make stains so that it gives the effect of a real ouija board.

Research and Planning: Film Poster Changes

Once again I have made changes to my film magazine, after my previous post about the colour of flags when the verdict is decided, I used this information to help me change the colour of my text so that it can be seen better and also matches the conventions of the court. I have also added some extra text of 'Coming Soon'.

Research and Planning: Guilty/Not Guilty

I have been doing some research on what happens when a person is guilty or not guilty. When a person is guilty they would wave a red flag out of the court room window to let the press know, and if a person was found not guilty then a white flag would be waved. Because of this I am going to use white/red text on my poster so that it matches conventions of the court. It also will not let the viewer know if the killer in our teaser trailer gets found guilty or not guilty.

I have now made both logo animations for BlackOut Productions and Static Pictures. I have also downloaded both pieces of my sound that I will then add onto iMovie.

As we do not have the software to make animations for our logos, I have had a go at making my own on Microsoft PowerPoint using custom animation, here is a video of my efforts.

Today I have made some changes to the place of the picture on my film magazine cover, and have also moved around some of the text so that it is more noticeable and so that it can be more easily seen and also Amy can be seen as well.

On my film poster for the teaser trailer I have no changed my image and the colour of my text, the image has a fuzzy effect as I want it to show that the main character is in a different state of mind as she has been possessed.

This is mine and Louise's trailer so far. We still have other bits to include such as: The pans of the Jury, the Ouija Board Scene and the Production Logos need to be added on.

Research and Planning: Film Magazine The Big Screen Final Draft

This is the final draft for my film magazine The Big Screen, I need to sort the text out as there are too many blank spaces, I also need to change the colours of the text once again so that it is then more noticeable to the viewer. The picture will also need changing I think as the faces of the character are still just drafts and are not good enough to be a final picture and the costume is the same.

This is the final draft of my film poster for the teaser trailer Verdict. I now have all the most important information on there, I now need to sort out the text, and colours of them so they can be seen over the picture of our main model/character Amy.

Research and Planning: Production Logo

Now that me and Louise have decided on BlackOut Productions as our other studio name we have both created a logo for it. This is mine, I have done it in the shape of an 'L' as its is 'Bl'ackOut. My idea for the animation part is that when this image comes on the screen, one by one the letters will flicker out/off or be deleted so that the effect would be a blackout.
